Requirements
While inTinker offers a robust AI solution for calibrating a 3D Printer, there are still things it cant do, yet..
Below you will find some printer, filament and Slicer requirements to meet.
Printer Requirements
Build Plate Shape
Rectangular and square build plates of any size
Circular, conveyor belt
Nozzle sizes
0.1mm to 0.6mm
0.7mm, 0.8mm, 1mm, 1.2mm
Theoretically you can use any nozzle size, however the part may not preform very well as it was designed for smaller (0.4mm) nozzles.
Extruders
Single extruders
Multi Extruders
Multi Material
Yes
You must use 1 profile at a time when calibrating. You cannot calibrate 2 or more filaments at the same time
Firmware
Marlin, Marlin 2, Klipper
Printer Condition
Good mechanical condition
Mechanical trouble shooting
This is a slicer setting calibration, not hardware. If you printer is not extruding for example, this might not help. Its mostly used for tuning new filaments and improving print quality.
Filament Requirements
Base Material **
PLA, TPU, PETG, ASA
Nylon, PC, PP, ABS, PVA
Filament Condition
Dry, semi moist
While we can tune semi moist filament to print better, its a band aid fix, dry your filament first...
** The AI is generalizable enough to be able to calibrate all variations of the base material listed, such as Wood PLA and Carbon Fiber PETG
Slicer Requirements
Slicer
Prusa Slicer 2.2 or newer
Orca Slicer, Super Slicer, Cura
If you get an error loading the 3mf, please contact us
Layer Height
0.01mm to 0.28mm
0.29mm to 0.4mm
Similar to nozzle size, you can use larger layer heights however the part was not designed for it.
File Transfer
.3mf
Plugin for direct one click transfer
